Processing Activities

1) Website Visits

When you visit sicatech.dk, we only use necessary/technical cookies to make the website function properly, for example for navigation and form functionality. We do not use cookies for marketing purposes. If this changes, we will update the information here.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, legitimate interest in providing a well-functioning website.

Retention: Cookies expire according to their technical purpose. Other website-related information is only stored to the extent necessary for operation and troubleshooting.


2) Communication with Potential Customers

You can contact us via contact form, e-mail or phone. We process the personal data you provide yourself, typically name, company, e-mail, phone number and your message, in order to respond to your inquiry.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and operating the business.

Retention: We delete the communication once it is clear whether or not you wish to use our services. In special cases, retention may be extended if necessary, for example for documentation of correspondence.


3) Customers and Suppliers

We communicate with customers in order to deliver agreed services, including industrial printing such as pad printing, screen printing, rotary printing, laser engraving, etc. We process, among other things, names, contact details, delivery agreements, reference numbers, as well as invoice and payment data.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b), performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in managing customer relationships.

Retention: Personal data is deleted when the service has been delivered, any outstanding matters have been completed, and relevant limitation periods have expired. Accounting records are retained in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act, see below.


4) Bookkeeping

We retain invoices and accounting records that may contain ordinary personal data, such as name, address and service description, in order to comply with legal requirements.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c), legal obligation, cf. the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

Retention: Minimum 5 years after the end of the financial year to which the material relates.


5) Job Applications

We are happy to receive applications. If you send an application, whether for an advertised position or unsolicited, we process the information you provide for recruitment purposes.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in recruiting, and, where relevant, Article 6(1)(b) in connection with employment.

Retention:

Unsolicited applications are assessed quickly. If there is no match, the information is deleted.

Applications for advertised positions are deleted if you are not hired, immediately after the right candidate has been found.

In the event of employment, separate information will be provided regarding the processing of personal data for employees.


6) Newsletter

We do not currently offer a newsletter. If we introduce a newsletter, we will obtain your active consent, using double opt-in, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a), consent. This section will be updated if a newsletter is introduced.


Data Processors

We use trusted IT suppliers, for example for hosting, e-mail and IT support, who process personal data on our behalf. We ensure appropriate safeguards through data processing agreements. An updated list can be provided upon request.


Disclosure

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties unless it is necessary for the delivery of our services, you have given your consent, or we are legally required to do so.


Transfers to Third Countries

As a general rule, we use suppliers within the EU/EEA or with data storage in the EU/EEA. If transfer outside the EU/EEA becomes necessary, it will take place on a valid transfer basis, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and with appropriate supplementary measures.


Security of Processing

We protect personal data through appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access control, backup and employee awareness. We continuously assess risks and update our measures.


Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, where the conditions are met. Contact us at sicatech@sicatech.dk to exercise your rights.


Withdrawal of Consent

Where processing is based on consent, for example a potential future newsletter, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.


Complaint

You can lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency at www.datatilsynet.dk if you are dissatisfied with our processing of your personal data.


Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version will always be available on this page.
